Ficus benjamina is known in landscaping circles by its Latin name Ficus benjamina (pictured by Martijn and kathycsus in its entirety). It is one of the most common indoor potted plants in our country.
It is an evergreen tree (this means that in autumn its leaves do not fall like other deciduous trees, but are preserved on the crown, only periodically there is a fall of some leaves and their replacement with others), which originates from the tropics. Benjamin is a suitable type for interior landscaping for any home. градински ландшафтен ограничител за трева
In its homeland this species reaches 15-20 meters in height, but in interior conditions it reaches the height that the room allows. This makes it very suitable for landscaping your house, villa and even garden (but with harvesting in the winter months).
It forms a rather branched crown with many arcuate branches. The crown of older species can reach quite a large width (up to 2.5-3 meters).
Ficus Benjamina (Ficus Benjamina) Its leaves are about 6 to 12 centimeters long and about 3 to 5 cm wide (in the close-up photo taken by ndrwfgg).
The requirements of this species for light are: intense lighting, even tolerates short-term sunlight in the early morning and late afternoon, which is characteristic of the Centenarian – Agave americana.
