This is a specialized substrate for growing and transplanting bonsai trees of different species. The soil is produced in Germany and is of extremely high quality.
This soil is suitable for spring transplanting of various types of bonsai, as well as for planting and growing mini trees. The soil has a balanced content of pumice, sand, clay, and nutrient-rich white peat.
The advantage of this high-quality soil substrate for Japanese bonsai trees is that it is deworming and does not contain whiteflies, flies, fungal spores, insect larvae, and other diseases and pests of bonsai.
The soil is ready for use and is enriched with a high content of essential trace elements for bonsai – Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), and Potassium (K) in a digestible form for the plant. The soil has good hygroscopicity and a suitable physicomechanical structure.
This allows the excess water to drain away and prevents the soil from becoming swampy and the bonsai roots from rotting. In addition, the structure helps the soil retain its nutrients for a longer time.
The soil is suitable for growing both bonsai, which are grown at home, and for those that are grown outdoors in the garden and yard. The soil is used for planting new types of bonsai and for grafting.
Bonsai soil is suitable for growing coniferous and deciduous species, flowering bonsai and deciduous.
Do not use this substrate as soil for growing cacti, orchids, and other species of epiphytes and succulents. The soil for bonsai is not suitable as soil for growing aquatic plants – water lily, water lentil, and others. Always transplant your bonsai at the right time and in the right containers – plastic or special ceramic pots for the purpose.
This soil contains the following nutrients:
Assimilable nitrogen (NH4 + NO3) – it 100 to 300 milligrams per 1 liter of substrate
Assimilable phosphorus (P2O5) – from 30 to 100 milligrams per 1 liter of substrate
Assimilable potassium (K2O) – between 200 and 300 milligrams per 1 liter of substrate
